"THE BAND AID" is dedicated to helping local bands to get airplay and exposure. We play 2 solid hours of non-stop, commercial-free 100% Cincinnati local original music. We also have live-in-studio performances and interviews... These are your friends, your relatives, your neighbors, your co-workers. We support all of the awesome bands and talented musicians that are in our city. We accept music submissions, regardless of genre. Please support your local bands! If you have original music, please send it to us.

It is our belief that the listener should be able to experience the same emotion and imagery that was intended when the artist wrote the song. However, Our broadcasts must follow FCC guidelines. The biggest FCC guideline that our show has to follow is restricted speech.
WE WILL NOT CENSOR (or bleep) YOUR MUSIC!
It is your artwork, so we won't change it. It must be radio-ready when you send it to us. Otherwise, we just can't play it.

There are deadly words that you CANNOT say on the radio. Therefore, I can't even tell you what they are... on the air. Kinda stupid, huh?
However, this website is protected under the 1st amendment, and considered "FREE SPEECH".
